This page explains how Cyberset obtains your consent before sending any text message, what messages you can expect to receive, and how you can stop them at any time. It exists so that business owners we speak with, and our messaging carriers, can clearly see how our opt-in process works.
Who we are
Cyberset is a Los Angeles based web design and digital marketing company. We help local small businesses get a professional website, including a free, no-obligation preview site built specifically for their business. We use text messaging only to continue a sales conversation that a business owner has already agreed to have with us.
How we get your consent
We never text purchased, rented, or scraped lists, and we never text anyone who has not first agreed to hear from us. Consent is never a condition of purchasing anything. We collect consent in one of two ways:
When a Cyberset representative speaks with a business owner by phone, the representative describes the free website preview, states that we would like to follow up by text, and discloses the message frequency, that message and data rates may apply, and how to get help or stop messages. The representative then asks the owner to confirm yes or no. We log the verbal “yes” with the date and time before any text is sent.
When we reach a business owner by email, the email includes a clear call to action inviting them to start a text conversation. The owner opts in by texting the keyword SITE to (323) 879-8330, then confirms by replying Y to our confirmation message. This is a double opt-in: we only continue once both steps are complete.
The call to action in our email looks like this:
Hi [Owner name],
We built a free preview website for [Business name] and would love to show it to you and answer any questions. The fastest way to chat is by text.
By texting SITE you agree to receive SMS messages from Cyberset about your website preview. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. See our Terms and Privacy Policy. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

After you opt in, messages are part of a one-to-one sales conversation with a live Cyberset representative. They relate to your free website preview, answering your questions, and helping you get your site live. Typical messages include:
- Hi [Name], this is [Agent] with Cyberset. Here’s the free preview site we built for [Business]: https://[business].tempsites.live. Happy to adjust anything. Reply STOP to opt out.
- Cyberset: Thanks for taking a look! Want me to add your hours and photos, or put it on your own domain? Reply STOP to unsubscribe.
- Cyberset: Your appointment with [Agent] is confirmed for [Day] at [Time]. Reply R to reschedule. Questions: [email protected]. Reply STOP to opt out.
Message frequency, rates, help, and opt-out
- Frequency: Message frequency varies based on the conversation. This is a low-volume, conversational use case.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Help: Reply HELP at any time, or email [email protected], for assistance.
- Opt-out: Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. STOP is honored permanently across all Cyberset numbers.
Privacy
We respect your privacy. No mobile information or phone numbers collected for SMS consent will be sold, rented, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
