Custom web design and development

We are a web design company that builds websites to do one job: turn visitors into calls, form leads and booked appointments. Every site we build is fast, accessible, ready for search from day one, and easy for your team to update.

What we build

Websites built by a web design company that also does SEO

Most website projects are handed from a designer to a developer to an SEO agency, and something breaks at every handoff. At Cyberset the same team designs, builds and optimizes your site, so speed, search and conversion are part of the plan from the first sketch, not fixes after launch.

WordPress websites

Our main platform. WordPress runs a large share of the web, your team can edit it without us, and it has the strongest SEO tooling available. We build custom themes, not heavy page-builder layouts, so pages load fast and stay fast. See WordPress web design.

Custom development

Booking flows, patient and client intake forms, calculators, integrations with your CRM, scheduling or practice software, and custom features your business needs. When WordPress is not the right fit, we tell you and recommend what is.

Landing pages and microsites

Campaign pages for Google Ads and Meta Ads, built to load in a moment and to convert. See our funnel pages service.

Online stores

For product sales, see Shopify and e-commerce design.

How we build

Fast, accessible and SEO-ready by default

No page-builder bloat. Page builders make editing easy but often load far more code than a page needs. We build lean, custom themes on a light WordPress base. Content stays easy to edit; visitors get a faster site.

Core Web Vitals as a requirement. We test loading speed, layout stability and responsiveness on real phones before launch, and we set performance targets in the project plan. This website is built the same way.

Accessibility built in. Color contrast, keyboard navigation, alt text, clear labels and readable type, aiming at WCAG 2.2 AA. It helps every visitor, and it lowers the risk of an accessibility complaint. For existing sites, see accessibility fixes.

SEO from the first page. Clean URLs, one keyword per page, schema markup, fast mobile pages, a correct sitemap and analytics with call and form tracking set up before launch, not months after.

Security and updates. Current PHP, minimal plugins, firewall and malware scanning, and backups, so your site is not the easy target.

Our process

From first call to launch in 5 steps

  1. Discovery

Your goals, customers, services and what the current site does well or badly, backed by its analytics and Search Console data.

  2. Sitemap and content plan

Every page, its purpose and its keyword, agreed before design starts.

  3. Design

Desktop, tablet and phone layouts in your brand, reviewed with you until they are right.

  4. Build and test

Development on a private staging site, with speed, accessibility, form and tracking checks on every template.

  5. Launch and handover

Redirects, analytics and Search Console checks on launch day, plus training so your team can update content.

Signs it is time for a new website

  • Your pages take more than a few seconds to load on a phone
  • You are afraid to edit the site because something might break
  • Visitors arrive from Google or ads, but few of them call or fill out a form
  • Your services, team or locations have changed and the site no longer matches
  • The site runs on an old theme, an outdated PHP version or plugins nobody updates
  • You cannot see which pages bring leads, because tracking was never set up

If two or more sound familiar, a website audit will show whether to fix or rebuild.

Redesigns

Redesign your website without losing your rankings

A redesign is the most common way businesses lose search traffic they spent years building. URLs change, pages disappear, and Google treats the new site as a stranger. We prevent that with a written migration plan:

  • A full inventory of every URL that gets traffic, links or rankings, pulled from Search Console and a site crawl
  • A redirect map that sends every old URL to its closest new page with a permanent (301) redirect
  • Content carried over, so pages that rank keep the copy, headings and structured data that earned the ranking
  • Launch-day checks on redirects, sitemaps, robots rules and tracking, then daily Search Console monitoring in the weeks after launch

After launch

Website care plans

A website needs the same attention after launch as before it. Our care plans cover WordPress, theme and plugin updates, uptime and security monitoring, backups, small content changes and a monthly check of speed and errors. You get one team to call when something needs to change.

FAQ

Web design FAQ

How much does a website cost?

It depends on the number of pages, custom features and how much content we write. We do not publish prices because two "10-page websites" can be very different projects. After a short call you get a written, fixed-scope proposal.

How long does a website take?

Timing depends on the number of pages and how quickly content and approvals come in. Your proposal includes a timeline with milestones, and we review progress with you at each one.

Will I own my website?

Yes, once the project is paid in full, ownership of the delivered site transfers to you as set out in your build agreement. You also own your domain, content and analytics accounts.

Can I update the site myself?

Yes. We build with editable sections and train your team at handover. Most clients update text, photos, team members and blog posts without help.

Do you work with sites you did not build?

Yes. We often start with a website audit, then fix, improve or rebuild depending on what costs you less.

Do you only build for Los Angeles businesses?

We are in Woodland Hills and many clients are in Southern California, but we design and build websites for businesses across the United States.
