Google AI Mode Adds Home Service Booking and Quote Links
Google is adding booking and quote links in AI Mode for some home service businesses through partner platforms in the U.S. Eligibility and setup depend on the platform.
Google has started showing direct booking and quote links in AI Mode for some home service businesses in the United States, according to Search Engine Journal. The new links work through named partner platforms, including marketplaces and field service software providers, and availability depends on the partner and the business setup.
Google Search Product VP Robby Stein said the feature is available now in the U.S. The report says ServiceTitan is listed as coming soon, while Housecall Pro says its integration is coming soon for eligible U.S. customers.
What changed
In AI Mode, Google can now show local home service providers with direct ways to keep going, either by booking an appointment or requesting a quote through partner companies such as Angi, Thumbtack, Housecall Pro, and Jobber. In the example described in the report, AI Mode showed local handyman options, ratings, short business descriptions, and in one case appointment times.
The path into AI Mode differs by platform. Jobber says eligible U.S. customers can receive requests now, with no lead fees, if they meet specific requirements such as having an active paid subscription, a full address in Jobber, and a connected Google Business Profile at the same location. Housecall Pro says users will be able to appear in AI Mode at no additional charge, with requests sent to the account inbox and time slots pulled from the calendar, but its release says the integration is still coming soon. Angi says users who select an Angi pro in AI Mode go to that pro’s Angi profile to learn more and request a quote.
What it means for your website
If your business is in home services, your software or marketplace account now affects whether customers may reach you from Google’s AI search experience. This is not just about your website or your Google Business Profile. It also depends on which partner platform you use and whether your account meets that platform’s rules.
It also means visibility may vary even if you qualify. The report says Google has not explained how it chooses which businesses to show in AI Mode. Jobber’s help page does say that collecting client reviews and using a booking form instead of only a request form can help a business be recommended more often.
What to do now
- Check whether your business uses one of the named partner platforms: Jobber, Housecall Pro, Angi, Thumbtack, or a platform listed as coming soon.
- If you use Jobber, confirm that your subscription is active and paid, your full address is listed, your Google Business Profile is connected, and both locations match.
- If you use Housecall Pro, review whether your account is eligible for Google AI Mode and make sure your calendar availability is accurate.
- If you use Angi, review your Angi profile carefully, since AI Mode may send homeowners there to request a quote.
- Monitor Google’s AI Mode local availability help information and each partner’s eligibility rules, because requirements and rollout details may change.
