Google Ads management focused on cost per lead

Why accounts waste money

Why most Google Ads accounts waste money

The usual problems are the same in almost every account we review: broad keywords that match searches nobody would buy from, no list of negative keywords, ads that send everyone to the home page, and conversion tracking that counts page views or nothing at all. Google then optimizes toward the wrong goal, very efficiently.

As a Google Ads agency, we manage campaigns around one number: what a real lead costs you. Everything else, from keywords to bids to landing pages, is judged against it.

Tracking first

Conversion tracking before budget

Before we raise a budget, we make sure the account can see what matters:

  • Form leads tracked through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4
  • Phone calls from ads and from your website tracked with CallTrackingMetrics and counted as conversions
  • Only real leads counted, so a page view or a scroll is never mistaken for a customer
  • Tests before launch, so every conversion action fires when it should

Campaign build

How we build Google Ads campaigns

  1. Keyword research

Search demand for each service in your area, the searches that show buying intent and the ones to exclude.

  2. Account structure

Campaigns and ad groups organized by service and location, so budget goes where you want it.

  3. Ads that match the search

Ad copy written for each group of searches, with the offer, the location and a clear next step.

  4. Guardrails

Negative keywords, location settings and schedules, so the budget is not spent on searches or places you do not serve.

Ongoing management

Weekly Google Ads management

Accounts drift if nobody watches them. Each week we review search terms and add negatives, adjust bids and budgets toward the campaigns with the lowest cost per lead, test new ad copy against the current winner, and check that tracking still works. Changes are logged, so you can see what we did and why.

Landing pages

Landing pages built for the ad

Sending paid clicks to a home page wastes money. Where it makes a difference, we build a page for each main offer: fast on phones, focused on one action and written to match the ad. See funnel pages.

Reporting

Reporting in plain language

Each month you see spend, leads, cost per lead and the campaigns and searches behind them, compared with the month before, plus what we changed and what we plan next. No pages of charts you need a glossary to read.

Who it is for

A good fit if you

  • Sell a service people search for when they need it
  • Want to know exactly what each lead from Google costs
  • Can answer calls and forms quickly, so paid leads do not go cold

It is probably not a fit if you want clicks or impressions without tracking, or a budget too small to collect useful data in your market.

FAQ

Google Ads management FAQ

How much should we spend on Google Ads?

It depends on how many people search for your services in your area and what a click costs in your field. We estimate a starting budget from real search volume and cost data before you commit, and adjust once we see your actual cost per lead.

Do you mark up ad spend?

No. We charge a management fee only. Google bills your ad spend directly to you.

Can you take over our existing account?

Yes. We start with an audit of your current campaigns and conversion tracking, keep what works, and fix what does not. Historical data in an existing account is valuable, so we rarely start from scratch.

How soon will we see leads?

Search campaigns can bring leads soon after launch, but the first weeks are a learning period while we collect data on which searches and ads convert. Cost per lead usually improves as that data builds up.

Who owns the Google Ads account?

You do. The account is in your name and stays yours, with its full history, whether or not you keep working with us. We work in it as a manager with the access you give us.

Why do you insist on conversion tracking?

Because without it, Google optimizes for clicks, not customers. Tracked calls and forms tell both us and Google's bidding which searches actually bring business.
